Battlefield 1 superbly creates a true warfare video game that lives up to the Great War it represents. It's gritty, bloody, intense, and very rewarding. I was desperately missing battlefield after having skipped 1 and 5 as well. Even after all the bad press of 2042. I decided to buy it this weekend though and am really liking it, even with so few guns it feels like there's still a ton to unlock and work towards.
Yeah I think it's worth it 50% off. I recommend the base game. No need for special editions or season pass. Performance is better for me and the new map is fun on both gamemodes. Don't buy BFV BFV is NOT fucking worth it, dice doesn't even listen to the community anymore. The game is a shit show. Its taken 3 months for dice to revert a change nobody wanted in the first place, they also did the same thing a year before and promised they wouldn't do it again.
