Removing the DPF without a tuner could lead to engine damage due to the engine trying to regenerate even if the DPF is not present. This could result in fuel being dumped into the exhaust, which could have detrimental effects on the engine. As mentioned earlier, you can always trick the sensors into thinking the DPF is always clean.
It doesn't support '15 trucks. Secondly if you don't care about the EGR since it's going to be turned off you can leave everything as is since a delete tune won't look for an EGR. Once you have the kit, you will need to remove the old DPF filter from your car’s exhaust system. This can be a tricky process, so it is advisable to get some help from a mechanic or someone with experience. After the old DPF filter has been removed, you will need to install the new DPF delete pipe. We split the case apart to properly flow check the DPF and clean both the DPF and DOC. The SCR on the right you would be surprised on how much build up this thing can have.
