The steep climb was easily managed by our kids of 4,8 and 11, although I did have a pocket full of sweets to keep up the little one’s motivation! The views across the lake are stunning. Make sure you’ve got a picnic with you, as it’s a lovely spot for lunch. The path is clearly marked to the side of the church in Garda.

The most daring might take Strada della Forra, which rises from lake level to Tremosine sul Garda (the opening sequence of the movie 007: Quantum of Solace was shot here).
